No church exists alone – every congregation is part of a larger community.
At Maple Grove we take this seriously. We see ourselves as being on the same team as all other Christian churches in Anderson and strive to encourage and bless our community.
We also believe that God calls us to partnership with our city, county and state.
Our pastor meets regularly with area ministers of congregations with whom we partner, or seek to partner, for outreach purposes. Many members of our congregation are active with organizations that directly affect our community, such as Operation Love – a cooperative organization that includes food pantry, clothing, household, and medical assistance ministries.
At Maple Grove, we seek to obey faithfully the words of Jesus. This means we care about “social justice.” We try to be the hands and feet of Jesus, caring for those in need, locally and around the world.
Volunteering Opportunities
If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up in the narthex or call our church secretary at 765-644-7532.
Operation Love:
Support the food pantry each week by dropping off non-perishable food in the cabinet in the rear hallway. The needs of our community can be satisfied through the Love of Christ, shown through us! www.operationloveministries.com
